Doug Boyd kindly reprises his role from BioShock 2 as Augustus Sinclair to introduce this album.
The audio is primarily taken from first entering the lighthouse at the start of the game and descending in the bathysphere heading towards Rapture.

Oh, well hey there son. You must've taken one hell of a wrong turn to wind up down here. Welcome to the mighty city of Rapture. It's seen better days, trust me. Let me explain what's going on. What you're listening to is a collection of songs based on our fair city here, by a guy going by the name of Eddache. Sounds, voices and music have been, for want of a better word, 'spliced' together, to create what you're about to hear. Well ain't that something! So, take a seat in that ol' bathysphere and enjoy the voyage ahead of you. And as the sign says on the door on your way on in here son, there are no Gods or Kings... Only Man.
